“　HOT POOL 　”

This project is designed to help the artist to create a work of art in residence in a foreign country, as it is difficult to do so.

It is a project to connect the country Iceland, where Hiroko shitate stayed as an artist in the past, and Kyoto, Japan, where he is currently working, through art.

Origin of the project name HOT POOL

Both Japan and Iceland have hot springs, and both countries have a culture of enjoying them.

I named this project as if we were in the same hot water (HOT POOL).

The people involved in this project and the people who watch it will exchange ideas, words, information, etc., and will be inspired to create a new vision for the future and new works.

This activity will be a stimulus for artists working in the same genre. This will lead to a better art and culture. It will also serve as a bridge between Japan and Iceland and provide an opportunity to recognize cultural diversity.

On the website, which is currently open to the public. This activity is described as work in progress.We are going to open it to the public and share it with the world.

プロジェクト　「 HOT POOL 」

このプロジェクトは、外国での滞在制作が困難な中、発起人であるHiroko shitate が、過去にartist として滞在した国Iceland と現在の活動場所である日本・京都を藝術で結ぶプロジェクトです。

《 プロジェクト名 HOT POOLの由来 》

日本とアイスランドは両国共に温泉を持ちそれを楽しむ文化があります。このプロジェクトを同じ温かい湯に（HOT POOL）に入ることと見立てて名付けました。

このプロジェクトに関わる人や見る人は、そこで、制作アイデア、言葉、情報、などをを交換し、新たなインスピレーションを受けて未来への視野vision や新しい作品を生み出して行きます。

その活動は、同じジャンルで活動するアーティストなどへの刺激となり、芸術文化への更なる広がりへと繋がると考えます。

また、それらは、アイスランドと日本という国をつなぐ架け橋となり、多様性を認め合う機会となります。

現在公開中のHPでは、その活動を内容をwork in progeess （作品制作過程）として公開し、世界に発信して行きます。
